Then I came to your statements, "I abandoned my public pronouncements and retreated to the safety of not conformity, but of concealment. My views were expressed only to those close to me and who harbored similar thoughts." That fits me to a tee. Thank you for your courage to write this and to open up the space for the many of us like you to also step forward in courage as well. While it is good to focus on how much we are all alike for the betterment of mankind and the planet, it is the beauty of our differences that gives us the amazing color and vibrancy of life here on earth.
