As I was reading, I was envisoning everyone around that waitress giving her a standing ovation! What a great commercial that would make for a product like Coca Cola or some other global brand that wants to be associated with kindness! There are those days we get to meet the "sandpaper people" - ie: a person who irritates the %*!& out of you, rubs u the wrong way, and lets u know exactly what u don"t want to be like! ... The lovely beings who (seem) to have their day made by irritating and upsetting other folks, or instigating trouble. I truly enjoyed this story, and would like to share this with others I know... as most of us do not have the patience your wonderful waitress did that day, and would like to tell the grumpy ol' guy where to stuff it some days! or end up biting our own tongue to stop ourselves.
