Tough Stuff At Panara Bread
I’m sitting in a Panara Bread shop with my coffee and computer, watching people. All kinds of them. The parking lot has a mixture of Mercedes and Toyotas, old and new. Same with the people here; old and new, little kids to grannies.
What I’m seeing is a lot of people being nice, considerate, helpful. Some with kids, some elderly. Some are self-contained, avoiding eye contact, but if you catch an eye here and there and smile, they smile right back, sometimes shyly.
Yes, it’s tough stuff in the real world. Circumstances for many have created a more difficult time, especially for this time of year. But decency still exists anywhere and everywhere.
Here’s one of my favorite Holiday posts that was a BIG AHA for me a few years ago: http://yourinnerwizard.com/decent/
