Impending Doom Or Impending Zoom?

Have you ever suddenly felt especially good or positive for no apparent reason? You’re going through your day and boom! You feel more hopeful, positive, even excited, but you don’t know why?

That happened to me yesterday. Out of the blue, it was a natural high. Emphasis on “natural.”

It was a feeling of impending zoom! it was a subtle, friendly, positive sense of something good happening or about to. It’s been slowly “zooming” ever since.

While my good feelings from yesterday persist, and I have yet to discover much out of the ordinary, though a very pretty woman smiled at me in the grocery store. I’m liking this feeling. It portends something extra and positive coming this way.

By the way, I think I may might have just figured it out. But more on that later.

Doom And Zoom

I’ve been sensing a lot of events recently in the political/economic world that does and will effect us all in the future, even more so than in the preceding months.

Certainly not good feelings either. While I’ve been concerned and even considered writing about them in my blog, I’ve held off.

When these kinds of feelings are predominate in our lives, either positive or negative, we are often drawn to that which supports those feelings.

If, for example, you are consistently fearful of the negative financial world for yourself now and the future, you will be drawn towards the news, books, people, conversations, etc., that supports those fears.

If you are blissfully happy and choose to remain ignorant of all negativity, you will be drawn to those things that support that too.

It won’t be that you don’t see the opposites, but you may block their impact from your conscious mind.

Neither is especially healthy. Ignorance is not bliss. Consistent fear because of negative news and events is not protective or helpful either.

All of this brings to mind this fact. When we go about creating our futures, we can have either the sense of impending doom or impending zoom.

But zoom has to be conscious. The doom becomes unconscious and we are easily led by fear and concern.

By that I mean if we are brooding and fearful and drawn to all that supports our fears, we are creating our futures unconsciously toward that negative scenario. We’re seeing a fair amount of this today in national and world economies.

However, we can make a conscious choice to look forward with a sense of impending zoom. That is, that we can be solution conscious of the problems of the day instead of concentrating only on the problems we face, we can be more likely to create the futures we want instead of the negative futures that others have allowed to be created for them.

Someone once said that even a dead fish flows with the current. Sometimes we have to fight against flow to get what we desire. Or we can choose to get on dry land and better choose the currents we want.

Don’t we all know people who are thriving today, regardless of all this doom and gloom? If not, go find some. They’re all over the place! Don’t look for them on the news though.

Conscious Balance

Shouldn’t we be proactive to protect ourselves about possible negative coming events? Absolutely. This is what I’d call conscious balance. You don’t block reality but you can create your own solutions to survive then prosper.

The worst possible scenarios have already been painted. Nobody knows anything for sure. But brooding, worrying, and buying into the huge sources of negativity will not solve anything either.

You must be proactive, take conscious mental and physical action. Never allow events to overwhelm you You overwhelm events with your solutions that work for you, then take them to the world!

Your Intuitive Click

Those of you who know about my “Intuitive Click” (Special Report at www.YourInnerWizard.com ) will understand why the feeling I had yesterday is so certain to me.

What could my current impending zoom be? I think it’s the ever expanding work I’m doing now within what’s become known as Your Inner Wizard. While thinking about it I just started writing this piece. It flowed and it’s only taken 20 minutes to reach this point.

Those of you who are following the work on Your Inner Wizard are helping to creative another conscious community to assist ourselves and others from being hypnotized into a future we don’t want instead of consciously choosing to go against the “flow” if necessary.

One Response to “Impending Doom Or Impending Zoom?”

  1. Barry Goss says:

Tom, you make a very fair case and eloquent “pitch” for essentially keeping things ‘real’ !

As in ‘keeping the mind OPEN’ to bravely pull back the black curtain to, at least, SEE what the other side of the story COULD BE.

Yet, in our awareness of whether the majority will actually DO that, well, that’s an entire bar-stool conversation in itself. One, that would require at least three beers and a few shots to wrap some sense around.

Anyway, one of the most interesting sorta trends — almost a mass sentiment of spiritual / LOA- labeled ideology — is this idea that a) the masses (or the “unevolved” in the guru’s or teacher’s eye) need active approaches to shun away anything that is less than “feel good” and b) that people that don’t agree or “get” the guru’s higher-level views or understanding are or can be expendable. Or, as Eckart Tolle has explicitly said [paraphrased] – “you don’t ‘get’ my cryptic drivel because you’re not yet ready to ‘get’ it. Regardless of how unusable it is in this world, you MUST ‘get’ it.”

So, over the past year especially [as you know] Heather and I have been putting a very “ya’ve got to me kidding me” critical-examination energy around a lot of nefarious and quirky mindsets that keep getting proliferated in this niche we call conscious-living, higher-learning, or self-transformation.

And, to that note, I’ll adorn you with what intrepid writer Bill Bonner once said about the investor who is NOT independent-thinking or contrary in approach

Truly this excerpt can be easily transposed onto how the masses of people clamoring to one law — The LOA — use it to save them from a so-called personal DOOM… the adversity, challenges, and normal ‘confrontation’ that life wants them to accept. Yet, most can’t stomach the thought of being ‘active’ in that approach.

Okay, now to adorn you and your readers will the Bill Bonner excerpt:

“What seems to doom the average investor is the same mushy quality that seems to be running the whole country. He will wait in line — without a word of protest — while guards frisk girl scouts and old ladies for dangerous weapons. If the mob is large enough, he can’t wait to be a part of it and fears being isolated from it. And, he will beleive any line of guff — no matter how fantastic — as long as everyone else falls for it, too.” – Bill Bonner
